New Classes Added!
Palabras del Pueblo Writing Workshop
Fall 2023 Palabras del Pueblo added new classes to our workshop!
The classes are ONLINE and take place over two weekends to accommodate work and family schedules. Class times are 9am to 1pm PST October 21, 22 and 28-29, 2023. There will be a mid-week panel of independent Chicano publishers featuring editors from Somos en escrito Press, El Martillo Press, Aztlan Libre Press, and Riot of Roses Press.
Take "Horror Writing" with V. Castro, author or Aliens: Vasquez and the upcoming The Haunting of Alejandra.
Take "Multilingual magia, genre-bending chupacabras, & indÃgena poetics in our Speculative Tradiciónes" with E.G. Condé, author of Sordidez.
Take "Hero's Journey: Graphic Novel Writing Workshop" With E.C.-Dukes, author of Daizee and the Dukes of Chuco.
Take "Writing for Raza" with Dave Weinstock, educator, agricultural journalist, photojournalist and administrator of Colegio Chicanos del Pueblo.
