With classes in Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Screenplay Writing and Graphic Novel Writing, Palabras del Pueblo Workshop is taught by some of the best today. It's a workshop by raza for raza writers to write to a raza audience to build our culture of the written word without the filter of interlopers.
Palabras del Pueblo is open to first time writing workshop attendees as well as experienced writers. It's a place to network, learn, and create opportunities for each other.
This Spring we will have Presentations by Scott Russell Duncan on addressing our community, Matt Sedillo on writer survival, E.G. Condé on Indigenous futurism & native ways of thinking and a TBD presentation by Gabriela Rios.
We will have a panel of independent raza magazines as an opportunity for writers to ask about the process of getting published, what kind of work they look for, and what opportunities each magazine possesses.
